The Dirrty South

By Quintin Xavier Roper • on December 21, 2009

Oh Snapeth! It’s another episode of hilarious banter with your friends Quintin and Nicole and this week the topic of discussion is the Dirty South. Being raised in Nashville, Tennessee the accent-less Quintin found it appropriate to dedicate this power hour to his native land despite the major hateration of Nicole who once visited a Crackle Barrel and felt like she was in A Time to Kill. There was also a NDH first, with a live performance from Chicago country singer KJ Smith. With only two mics and a guitar, KJ debuted two of his songs and discusses the business of country music. And let’s not forget an exclusive interview with mysterious photographer Lynette Astaire (who wore Crocs to the show…) and live mixing courtesy of DJ 5/16.

Kj is pretty good, I like how he hails to the real country music, not the bogus pop country thats out now. Keep it up, I will have to check this guy out, he seems pretty real and down to earth. And I'm pretty sure Cracker Barrel is like a buffet restaurant.....

Listening all the way from the SOUTH in Texas. Did you know Texas used to be it's own country? That it's the only state in the union that could actually secede (in the state constitution)? And...it can fly it's flag at the same height as the USA flag...HUH...good thing I'm a Yankee!
    Good stuff KJ!
